Brewmaster Monk

The priority

1. Celestial Brew — before a big hit
2. Fortifying Brew — before a big hit, if celestial brew is down
3. Expel Harm — when you’re low
4. Purifying Brew — at moderate or heavy stagger
5. Blackout Kick — without blackout combo
6. Invoke Niuzao — when it is ready
7. Breath of Fire — when it is ready
8. Keg Smash — when it is ready
9. Tiger Palm — with blackout combo
10. Blackout Kick — when it is ready
11. Tiger Palm — with spare energy

Common mistakes

• Letting Stagger sit at heavy.
• Pressing Tiger Palm without Blackout Combo when Blackout Kick is about to come back.
• Holding Keg Smash.

What’s simplified

• Each turn is one decision (about one global cooldown). Cooldowns and buff durations are converted to turns, so timing is approximate.
• Priority order follows SimulationCraft’s default priority list for this build, simplified to the abilities modeled here. Costs, cooldowns and effects come from Blizzard’s spell data. Rule wording is our own.
• Stagger is shown in three steps (light, moderate, heavy). Taking hits raises it about one turn in three; Purifying Brew clears it.
• Energy refills 15 a turn. Keg Smash costs 40 and Tiger Palm 25.
• Your global cooldown is 1 second in game but a turn here is about 1.5, so Keg Smash and Breath of Fire come before spending Blackout Combo.
• Big hits and low health are scripted moments in each lesson, not a full damage model.
• Cooldowns in turns: Blackout Kick 2, Keg Smash 5, Breath of Fire 10, Expel Harm 10, Purifying Brew 2 charges every 13, Celestial Brew 60, Invoke Niuzao 80, Fortifying Brew 240.
