Privacy policy
First Pull Academy is a free, ad-free fan site. We keep only what we need to save your progress and run optional features. We don’t sell your data, show ads or use tracking cookies.
You can use most of the site without an account. Your Academy progress, planner and quiz history are then saved only in your browser.
What we store
When you log in with Discord, Discord shares your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar and email address. We use them to create your account and show your name and avatar. We don’t post anything to Discord or read your servers or messages.
What you do on the site, saved to your account:
- Rotation Academy progress, practice sessions (accuracy, mistakes, dates) and achievements.
- WoW IQ quiz attempts, your leaderboard choice, and saved Class Finder results.
- Your featured badge, coaching pace and display preferences.
- Feedback you send about lessons. It stays after you delete your account, without your name.
- AI coach recaps and questions to the coach: we note the spec, lesson and time to count your daily allowance. These notes are deleted after a week. The recap text, your questions and the answers aren’t stored.
- Log reviews (Pro): when you add a public Warcraft Logs report, we read your casts and buff timings for one fight. We store the character name, summary numbers (such as casts per minute) and the feedback, never the raw combat log. We keep your 30 most recent reviews.
Guild Training, if you join a guild:
- Your guild, role, main spec and character name.
- Training assigned to you and your completion.
- Your choice of whether officers see your practice details. Officers see training completion either way.
- Log reviews: when you (or an officer) add a public Warcraft Logs report, we read your casts and buff timings for one fight. We store only summary numbers (such as casts per minute) and the feedback, never the raw combat log. We keep your 20 most recent reviews.
The feedback survey, if you fill it in: your answers (which tools you tried, what you’d like next, your rating and anything you write). If you were logged in we link the answers to your account; deleting your account removes that link and keeps the answers anonymously.
The updates email list, only if you tick the box: your email address and when you signed up. We use it only to tell you about new tools and specs, never sell or share it, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. It’s stored separately from your survey answers.
Memberships, if you join: whether you are a Pro or Champion member, its status and renewal date, and your Patreon user ID (or Stripe customer ID) so we can match payments to your account. We never see or store your card details.
Shared quiz results are public to anyone with the link. They show the score and title only, never who took it.
Why we use it
- To save your progress across devices and give you automated feedback.
- To run optional features you turn on: the leaderboard, guilds, log reviews and badges.
- To provide Pro features to members, and show their membership badge.
- To keep the site secure and working, for example by stopping abuse.
What other people can see
- Leaderboard: only if you opt in. It shows your display name, best score and featured badge.
- Your guild: members see your name, avatar, badge, main spec and training completion. Leaders and officers also see your practice details and feedback unless you keep them private.
- Everyone else: nothing, unless you share a quiz result link.
Services that help run the site
These companies process data for us, only as needed for their part:
- Supabase: database and login.
- Vercel: hosting. It handles your requests and keeps short-lived server logs.
- Discord: login.
- Warcraft Logs: reading public reports you ask us to review.
- Cloudflare Workers AI (or Groq as a backup): writing AI coach recaps and answering questions to the coach. For recaps we send only game data from your session (spec, lesson, ability names and counts). For questions we send the text you type. Never your name, email, Discord details or account ID, so please don’t put personal details in a question.
- Patreon (or Stripe): optional memberships, under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you delete your account. Some history is capped so it never grows forever:
- Your 200 most recent quiz attempts (plus your best score).
- Your 200 most recent practice sessions.
- Your 50 most recent saved Class Finder results.
- Your 20 most recent log reviews.
Shared quiz links made without an account are removed after 90 days.
Your choices and deleting your data
- Turn the leaderboard on or off on the quiz page, and change or hide your badge on your account page.
- Choose whether guild officers see your practice details, and leave your guild at any time.
- Delete your account from your account page. This immediately and permanently removes your account and everything saved with it. If you lead a guild, leadership passes to another member. Cancel any Patreon membership on Patreon, because deleting your account doesn’t stop payments there.

Children
Logging in needs a Discord account, so you must meet Discord’s minimum age (13 in most countries, or older where local law requires). Anyone can use the site without an account.
