Mistweaver Monk

The priority

1. Life Cocoon — before a big hit on the tank
2. Revival — when the whole group is hurt
3. Thunder Focus Tea — when the tank drops low
4. Enveloping Mist — when the tank is low
5. Renewing Mist — when it has a charge
6. Invoke Yu’lon — when three or more allies are hurt
7. Vivify — when several are hurt and renewing mist is out
8. Rising Sun Kick — when it is ready
9. Vivify — on a hurt ally
10. Blackout Kick — with 3+ teachings
11. Tiger Palm — when everyone is healthy

Common mistakes

• Letting Renewing Mist charges sit unused.
• Vivify with few Renewing Mists out.
• Forgetting Rising Sun Kick, which extends your heals.
• Pressing Life Cocoon after the big hit.

What’s simplified

• Each turn is one decision (about one global cooldown). Cooldowns and buff durations are converted to turns, so timing is approximate.
• SimulationCraft doesn’t model healing, so these priorities are our own, written from Blizzard’s spell tooltips and long-standing healing practice. Costs, cooldowns and durations come from Blizzard’s spell data. Treat it as a starting point, not a final word.
• The party is five allies. Injuries, a low tank and incoming group damage are scripted moments in each lesson, not a full health model: heals move allies from injured to healthy, and overhealing is not tracked.
• Renewing Mist shows how many allies have it (up to 5). Vivify heals one ally per Renewing Mist, up to 3.
• Thunder Focus Tea makes the next Enveloping Mist free. Tiger Palm builds Teachings of the Monastery; Blackout Kick spends it and can reset Rising Sun Kick.
• Cooldowns in turns: Renewing Mist 2 charges every 6, Rising Sun Kick 7, Thunder Focus Tea 20, Life Cocoon 80, Invoke Yu’lon 80, Revival 120.

A Mythic+ style party heal with some fistweaving. Hero talent effects, Sheilun’s Gift and Mana Tea are not modeled. Reviewed Oct 20, 2026. A training aid, not a damage simulator.
