Restoration Druid

The priority

1. Ironbark — before a big hit on the tank
2. Tranquility — when the whole group is hurt
3. Swiftmend — when the tank drops low
4. Regrowth — when the tank is low and swiftmend is down
5. Wild Growth — when three or more allies are hurt
6. Lifebloom — when it’s missing or about to end
7. Efflorescence — when it’s not down
8. Regrowth — with clearcasting, on a hurt ally
9. Rejuvenation — before damage, or on hurt allies
10. Grove Guardians — when allies are hurt
11. Regrowth — on a hurt ally
12. Moonfire — when everyone is healthy
13. Wrath — when everyone is healthy
14. Rejuvenation — on the tank, between pulls

Common mistakes

• Letting Lifebloom fall off the tank.
• Waiting for damage before placing Rejuvenation.
• Spending Swiftmend on a small hit and not having it when the tank drops.
• Doing nothing when everyone is healthy: Moonfire and Wrath still help.

What’s simplified

• Each turn is one decision (about one global cooldown). Cooldowns and buff durations are converted to turns, so timing is approximate.
• SimulationCraft doesn’t model healing, so these priorities are our own, written from Blizzard’s spell tooltips and long-standing healing practice. Costs, cooldowns and durations come from Blizzard’s spell data. Treat it as a starting point, not a final word.
• The party is five allies. Injuries, a low tank and incoming group damage are scripted moments in each lesson, not a full health model: heals move allies from injured to healthy, and overhealing is not tracked.
• Rejuvenation shows how many allies have it (up to 5). Swiftmend needs a Rejuvenation or Lifebloom to consume, as in game.
• Clearcasting comes from Lifebloom 15% of turns; Nature’s Swiftness and Clearcasting make Regrowth free.
• Mana is a percentage that refills slowly. Costs follow the spell data.
• Cooldowns in turns: Wild Growth 7, Swiftmend 10, Grove Guardians 3 charges every 13, Nature’s Swiftness 40, Ironbark 60, Tranquility 120. Lifebloom lasts 10, Rejuvenation 8, Efflorescence 20.
