About this module

The priority

  1. Tiger’s Fury — when it is ready (below 90 energy)
  2. Feral Frenzy — at 2 or fewer combo points
  3. Ferocious Bite — with apex predator’s craving
  4. Rip — at 5 combo points, when rip is ending
  5. Ferocious Bite — at 5 combo points
  6. Shred — with sudden ambush
  7. Rake — when rake is missing or ending
  8. Moonfire — when moonfire is missing or ending
  9. Shred — as your builder

Common mistakes

  • Finishing at 3 or 4 combo points.
  • Letting Rip fall off on a single target.
  • Capping Energy before Tiger’s Fury.

What’s simplified

  • Each turn is one decision (about one global cooldown). Cooldowns and buff durations are converted to turns, so timing is approximate.
  • Priority order follows SimulationCraft’s default priority list for this build, simplified to the abilities modeled here. Costs, cooldowns and effects come from Blizzard’s spell data. Rule wording is our own.
  • Energy caps at 140 (an approximation of the talented cap) and regenerates 18 per turn. Tiger’s Fury adds 50.
  • Finishers are always spent at 5 combo points.
  • Rip lasts 16 turns, Rake and Moonfire 10. "Refreshable" means 4 or fewer turns left for Rip, 3 for the others. Snapshotting is not modeled.
  • Clearcasting (free Shred) is a 25% chance per turn; Sudden Ambush and Apex Predator’s Craving each a 12% chance per finisher.
  • Berserk, Incarnation, Convoke the Spirits and Regrowth weaving are not modeled.
