About this module
The priority
- Kill Command — with no tip of the spear
- Boomstick — when it is ready
- Wildfire Bomb — at 2 charges
- Kill Command — before takedown, below 2 tip stacks
- Takedown — with tip of the spear
- Raptor Strike — as your focus spender
- Kill Command — when a charge is available
- Wildfire Bomb — when a charge is available
Common mistakes
- Pressing Raptor Strike with no Tip of the Spear while Kill Command is ready.
- Letting Wildfire Bomb cap at 2 charges.
- Using Takedown with no Tip of the Spear stacks.
What’s simplified
- Each turn is one decision (about one global cooldown). Cooldowns and buff durations are converted to turns, so timing is approximate.
- Priority order follows SimulationCraft’s default priority list for this build, simplified to the abilities modeled here. Costs, cooldowns and effects come from Blizzard’s spell data. Rule wording is our own.
- Cooldowns are approximations of their talented values: Kill Command 3 turns with 2 charges, Wildfire Bomb 9 turns with 2 charges, Takedown 20 turns, Boomstick 30 turns.
- Tip of the Spear: Kill Command adds a stack (up to 3), and Raptor Strike, Wildfire Bomb, Boomstick and Takedown each spend one.
- Raptor Swipe is a 50% chance from Kill Command and turns the next Raptor Strike into a cleaving swipe.
- Focus caps at 125 and regenerates 8 per turn. Moonlight Chakram, Sentinel’s Mark and Shrapnel Bomb are not modeled.
